Here he is our first part of the endangered marine species collection. It is impossible to live by the Pacific Ocean and not be impressed by these marvelous creatures. Honu is Hawaiian for turtle and Meluna means "up". This bronze sea turtle is 12x7x6 and floats with an attitude of freedom through the kelp .
For the months of June and July our Honu is featured at the St. George, Utah Art Museum representing the National Park Koloko Honokohau on the island of Hawaii in a special series of artwork honoring the centennial of the National Parks. His information is recorded for visitors information about this endangered species, and the also endangered bull kelp which is supporting him.
